Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and TEnergy Labs (“TEnergy”, “we”) for the use of tenergy.me, its dashboard and its API (the “service”). By placing an order, sending a payment or creating an account you accept them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.
The service
We rent TRON energy for a fixed window (a “tier”) and delegate it on chain to the address you name. Delegation adds a resource to that address. It gives nobody, us included, any power over the funds held there, and we never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
Energy is used by the TRON network when that address sends a transaction. A transaction also needs bandwidth, and it can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with energy. Whether your own transaction succeeds is outside the service.
Who may use it
You may use the service only if:
- you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement;
- you are not a person or entity named on a sanctions list of the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, and are not owned or controlled by one;
- you are not located in, or acting for someone in, a country or region under comprehensive sanctions of those authorities;
- using the service is lawful where you are.
Prohibited use
You must not use the service, directly or for someone else, in connection with:
- funds obtained by theft, hacking, fraud, scams, extortion or ransomware;
- money laundering, terrorist financing or evading sanctions;
- darknet markets or the sale of illegal goods or services;
- hiding the origin of funds, including through mixers or chains of addresses built for that purpose;
- any other activity that is illegal where you, the paying address or the receiving address are located;
- attacks on the service: interfering with its operation, exceeding rate limits by design, or using another person’s account or API key.
Checks and our right to refuse
We may screen addresses and transactions connected to an order, using our own checks and blockchain analytics providers. If an address or payment appears connected to prohibited use or carries a high money-laundering risk, we may, without giving reasons where the law does not allow it:
- refuse or cancel an order, or deliver nothing;
- suspend or close an account and its API keys;
- hold a payment or an account balance while we review it;
- return funds only to the address they came from, or keep them where the law requires;
- report to the competent authorities.
We are not liable for losses caused by acting in good faith on such a check.
Orders and delivery
- The price is the one shown for the tier and the time window when your payment arrives. Prices change during the day and are published on the site and through the API.
- An order is delivered when the energy appears on the receiving address on chain. It stays there for the tier’s duration and is then taken back.
- You are responsible for the receiving address. Energy delivered to the address you named is delivered, even if the address was not the one you meant.
- Delivered energy is not refunded, whether or not it is used.
Payments and refunds
- Direct transfer. A payment with an empty memo buys energy for the address that paid. A payment below the window’s minimum, a payment whose memo is not a valid TRON address, and the part of a payment that does not buy a whole 1,000-unit step are not filled and not refunded. We never guess an address, so check the memo and the amount before you send.
- Account balance. Deposits to your account’s deposit address are credited after they are confirmed on chain. Assets or networks we do not support may not be recoverable.
- Undelivered orders. If we cannot deliver all or part of an order, the undelivered part is refunded to your balance or to the paying address.
- Refunds are made in the asset received, to TRON addresses only.
Accounts and API keys
You sign in by signing a message with your wallet. Keep your wallet, API keys and webhook secrets safe: whatever is done with them counts as done by you. Tell us at once if you think a key has leaked, and revoke it in the dashboard. We may revoke keys or limit accounts that are used in breach of these terms.
Availability
The service depends on the TRON network, node providers and energy suppliers. It is provided “as is” and “as available”. We aim to keep it running but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change, pause or stop features. Changes to the TRON network, including its fees and resource rules, may change what the service can deliver.
Liability
To the extent the law allows:
- our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim concerns;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, failed transactions of your own, or losses caused by the TRON network, wallets or third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if the law requires it. Terms that by their nature should survive, such as liability and refunds already due, continue to apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Orders placed after a change are governed by the new version.
