Each transfer is one 1-hour order at 25.34 SUN per energy; an order total rounds up to 1,000 SUN, as quotes do. Day average = the day's windows weighted by length. Burn: 100 SUN per energy (getEnergyFee). Schedule from the published grid.

FAQ

How is the USDT transfer fee calculated?

A USDT transfer needs 65,000 energy when the receiver already holds USDT and 131,000 when it does not. Without energy the network burns 100 SUN of TRX for each missing unit; with rented energy you pay the rental price instead. The estimate multiplies the energy by the live price and adds activation when the receiver is new.

What does “energy is lower than necessary” mean?

The sending account has less energy than the transfer needs, so the wallet either refuses or burns TRX for the difference. Check the sender's energy, then rent the amount the transfer needs and send it again.

Where does the address check get its numbers?

From GET /v1/resources, which reads the address from our own node with a short cache. It is public and needs no key. It does not report a USDT balance yet, so it cannot tell 65,000 from 131,000 on its own.

Are these numbers binding?

No. They are the published prices at the moment you look. A binding price comes from a quote, which holds for 120 seconds.
